BETTINA VON ZWEHL: ROYAL MARITIME MUSEUM, GREENWICH ACQUISITION

Acquired with support from the National Heritage Fund as part of the Armada Portrait Project

Bettina von Zwehl was commissioned by the Royal Museums Greenwich to make new portraits of young women from South East London inspired by 16th Century portraits of Elizabeth I.  These portraits were exhibited in the King's Ante-Chamber in the Queen's House Greenwich in 2019.

We are delighted to announce that the series of seven works are now in the collection of the National Maritime Museum.
